Kuala Lumpur, 19th) In conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chairman of the Malaysian Used Auto Parts Association, Qiu Xiangxiang, led the directors and members to Pahang to generously donate moon cakes, red envelopes and supplies to convey warmth and love to four charitable welfare organizations.
The Association adheres to the spirit of “taking from society and giving back to society” to give back to society and is committed to helping disadvantaged groups in charitable activities.
Qiu Xianxiang said that the four charitable groups visited by the association include the Rafa Welfare Institution in Kuantan, the Xileya Special Children’s Center in Karak, the Bolikou Special Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Bentong and the Bentong Old Folks’ Home during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
He revealed that this event was the first time that the Chamber of Commerce held a charity event in Pahang after previously carrying out charity events in various states in Malaysia including Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang, Kedah, Perak, East Malaysia, etc.
A total of RM17,249 worth of supplies were donated, including daily necessities, mooncake gift boxes, medicines, rice cookers, vacuum cleaners, dry food, Milo, toiletries, health foods and red packets to the helpless elderly and children.
Director Zeng Yalian of the Rafa Welfare Institution in Kuantan, Secretary Yang of the Glass Mouth Special Children Rehabilitation Center in Bentong, Chairman Huang Lingjuan of the Bentong Nursing Home and Director Lin of the Hiliya Special Children’s Center in Karak thanked the group for their warmth.
The directors who visited this time included Vice Chairman Chen Baolian, Deputy Secretary-General Chen Xiqiang and Deputy Treasurer Huang Chengda.
